CRAZY FOR BIKINIS!

I really love bikinis, but it's a problem for me to find the right one! Here in Europe the bottom part is too big for my taste. For instance, H&M has beautiful designs, I tried one on last week, but as always the bottom was too big!! hate it … grrr … So I gave a look at Yamamay's and finally a saw that they have some bikinis made in Brazil! The prices are around 5o euros, the only bad thing is that they just have few models, so probably I'll see many girls wearing my same bikini! …..

This one with sequins is from Argentina, I bought it to a girl in the beach for 60 euros.

Prada Spring/Summer 2011 Ad Campaign

Lately I had been working in a project about the launch of a new jewerly line of PRADA in Brazil, (of course it's not real, it's just an exercise for our master), so I took a look of the latest colleciton of the company, whcih is very playful, colorful and fun! Ithink the Ad campaign is very good!

STRONG IS BEAUTIFUL

This is the new ad campaign of the WTA (women't tennis association) to promote tennis between women. The spot is focused on all the element necessary to become a professional in a such competitive sport as tennis. There had been some controversy about the video, because too sexy or less sporty. But I think is great, however they are women!!

These girls have transformed themselves from models to business women. Gisele Bundchen own her own brand, Heidi Klum is the producer of the television program Project Runway, both of them had been part of the Victoria's Secret Angel, which has become a real farm team for models. Who does not want the life of one of them? =P

MY NEW SWEDISH SHOES!

My desire of shopping was filled today, when while having a stroll with my sister I had a look to OVIESSE, big chain in Italy which offers accessible prices and good quality and has the collaboration of designers as ELIO FIORUCCI. In fact my new shoes belong to the Baby Angel collection which is designed by him. I thing I’m going to use this shoes a lot this season, they are perfect with jean, short or shirt and are very trendy those days. You must have a pair of Swedish in your closet; you can find it in different prices, I just bought mine for 39 Euros.

I WANT A NEW BLAZER!

I woke up this morning with the intention of buy on line In Forever 21, but the web site seem to have problems :’( I guest I have to wait or go to out. What I’m looking for is a pair of high heels and a colorful blazer, I saw two days ago a very nice one in Zara, but I couldn't check the price because the shop was close for Easter.

MY EASTER IN ABRUZZO

I’m back in Rome after spend Easter at my grandmother place in Abruzzo which is around 2 hours from Rome. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, the nice weather (thanks god it wasn’t too cold), and after almost five year I had the opportunity to ride horses again. Is incredible the sensation you feel when riding this amazing, elegant and strong animals. Be near them was the best unexpected thing that happened last weekend.

POP ARCHITECTUAL LAND ART PROJECT

Probably some of you already know about this sculpture, but I knew it just today. It’s a permanently sculpture located in the northwest of Valentine, Texas, about 60 Km northwest of the city of Marfa. Was created by two artist ELGREEN and DRAGSET, the artist called the work a pop architectural land art project, and its cost US$ 80,000. Unfortunately few days after it was finish the sculpture was destroy by vandals, after this happen the sculpture was immediately reconstructed and reinforced with security systems. The structure has in the inside shoes and bag provided by Miuccia Prada herself from the fall-winter 2005 collection. See this piece of art in the middle of the dessert should be amazing.

A WEEK INSIDE PULL & BEAR

My frits week working at PULL AND BEAR is already pass, and it wasn’t easy at all! We have a lot of work there; the frits day was very interesting because the boss came to fix some walls, so he was explain me how to reorganize the clothe to make it attractive to the costumers, he was very clear but he doesn’t come every day to the store, I’m looking forward to another visit of him; the second day new items arrived, so they teach me how to do all the procedures to receive it and to send the information to Spain; third day I rested, I’ve been at home the whole day because I came down with a flu; the fourth day was a VERY busy day because was a holly day here in Italy, we celebrated the 150 anniversary of the unit of Italy and the coronation of Vittorio Emanuele II the frits king of Italy, so a lot of people were in the mall, the shop was crowded the whole time, so I couldn’t stop even a second trying to fix the clothes that the people left in the fitting room taking care of the costumer, dressing up some manikin and bringing items from the warehouse, I finished the day exhausted; and last day and once again new items arrived and I spend all day in the warehouse unpacking and organizing them. So, is not easy to work in this place, you have to be constantly doing something but my colleagues are nice people, young, happy and fun, they create a pleasant environment that make everything easier.

Matthew Williamson Fall/Winter 2011 Full Show

Ok people have you saw the MATTHEW WILLIAMSON’S collection fall/winter 2011? Let me tell you that it’s awesome, I can wear any of those pieces I just think that he is a great designer, is so feminine and colorful that you can just love it! This collection was inspired by the work of the Russian artist Francisco Infante-Arana who is better known for this work of places mirrors among the wilderness allowing them to reflect its surrounding. There you have the fashion show and also some photos of Infante!!

Lasciatemi dirvi che e’ spettacolare, potrei indossare qualsiasi di quei vestiti, sono cosi femminile e colorati che puoi solo amarli! Questa collezione fu ispirata ai lavori dell’artista russo Francisco Infante-Arana, meglio conosciuto per i suoi lavori di posizionare specchi tra la natura, lasciando questi riffletere i dintorni creando un risultato molto interessante. The stylist of the famous star Lady Gaga has designed the fall-Winter 2012 collection for Thierry Mugler, in which Gaga appear twice in a catwalk which were designed to resemble a futuristic Gothic Cathedral. She were smoking and looking very confidence about her self. Watch the show, i thing was very funny and i liked the way the made the models walk which seem like be a little messy...

Nicola Formichetti, lo stilista della famosa cantante Lady Gaga ha ideato la collezione di Thierry Mugler, dove la star ha fatto due apparizione in una scenografia che somigliava una catedrale gotica. Lady Gaga ha sfilato con in mano una sigaretta e senza alcuna apparenza di nervi. Guardate la sfilata, a me e' sembrata divertente e mi e' piaciuto il modo, un po' disordinato, in cui hanno fatto sfilare a le modelle...

KARL LAGERFELD AT ROME

Dal 16 febbraio al 10 aprile è in mostra al Chiostro del Bramante a Roma una raccolta fotografica del grande creatore di moda Karl Lagerfeld. Scatti che vado dalle campagne pubblicitarie realizzate per Fendi e Chanel, a una serie di ritratti di personaggi famosi fino alle fotografie della città di Parigi. Personalmente mi sono piaciuti molto gli scatti realizzati per Fendi con colori molto intensi e fantasiosi... Ovviamente non ho potuto fare foto dentro la mostra, quindi vi lascio solo alcune foto fatte fuori.

From February 16 to April 10 there is in exhibition a collection of photographs of the great fashion designer Kald Lagefeld at Chiostro Del Bramante in Rome. Shots that go by the advertising campaigns for Chanel and Fendi, to a series of portraits of famous people to finish with the pictures of Paris. Personally I really liked the photos taken for Fendi with intense and fanciful colors. Of course a could not take pictures inside the exhibition, so I just can give you pictures from outside… J

ACCADEMIA D'ALTA MODA KOEFIA *** FASHION SHOW

Last night my friend and I went to the ShariVari. A very chic and cool cocktail bar located in Via Di Torre Argentina 78, Roma. The occasion was a fashion show arranged by L’Accademia d’Alta Moda KOEFIA, they presented four collection of different designer. Probably some of this dressed I would not use, but I have to say that they were well worked, I also liked the selected models and the hairstyle. So here I have some photos, I also made videos but right now I’m having problems with them so I will post it later…
